About Planète Apnée

Planète Apnée is the first freediving school on Lac d'Annecy, founded in 2022 by Simon Chenu — State-Certified Freediving Instructor, Federal Apnea Judge, AIDA, ANTEOR and FFESSM instructor, born in Annecy in 1990. The school offers discovery sessions from age 8, progression courses, certified levels AIDA 2★ to 4★ (CMAS * to ***), FFESSM instructor training, and unique experiences including night freediving and sunset boat sessions. Learn apnea in the crystal-clear alpine waters of Lac d'Annecy in summer, and in a heated 33°C pool in winter. The team also includes Adeline Fissier — State-Certified Instructor, hypnotherapist, BPJEPS, AIDA and SSI — specialist in children's programmes and supporting water-anxious students. Planète Apnée holds the « Initiative Remarquable » label from Initiative France and has been featured in France 2, Le Monde, and Le Dauphiné Libéré.
