Overview
Freedive Nusa is one of Indonesia's largest freediving schools, founded in 2016 on Nusa Penida Island with over 5,000 certified freedivers and 800+ student reviews. The school's focus is on adventurous freediving, combining courses on Nusa Penida with regular expeditions across Indonesia, including liveaboards in Komodo and land-based trips to Raja Ampat, Alor, Maratua, and parts of West Papua, where they stay in local homestays and work closely with island communities. They are top experts in these regions and the only freediving company reaching many of these remote spots. All courses are Molchanovs by default, with SSI and AIDA certification available by request. The people behind it
Founder of Freedive Nusa, Freediving Instructor Trainer, and RYT200 Yoga Teacher. Kirill started freediving in 2011 in Thailand and became an SSI Freediving Instructor in 2013. He has organised courses and trips across Russia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Turkey, and Egypt. Based on Nusa Penida since 2016, he became an SSI Instructor Trainer in 2018 and a Molchanovs Instructor Trainer a year later, the highest rating in freediving education. He teaches all levels from complete beginners to instructors.

Training takes place in Nusa Penida's warm, clear ocean water (27–29°C year-round) with shore and boat access to spectacular coral reefs. Pool facilities are available for static and dynamic apnea training.
