I had an incredible experience training and doing a freediving dive with Ricardo and Sebastián. I had the opportunity to do a coaching session with Ricardo, and it was fantastic. I loved his professionalism and feedback. I felt it was a session truly focused on improving my technique, and on top of that, the visibility at the dive site was insane! You could see the stop point from 40 meters deep. I was so happy with my coaching session that I decided to go back for another freediving dive. We went to some caves with spectacular coral. I 100% recommend the experience with Freediving Caribbean School.

Freediving Caribbean School is such a special place for me. It's located on calm, clear, blue waters, with gorgeous reef to explore. I got to see a seahorse, a turtle, eagle rays, and so many fish while snorkeling there. The vibe of the school is relaxed and homey. We stayed in one of the private rooms during our 3 week stay. It was like a dream waking up and walking out of our room every morning, just yards from the ocean. I arrived at the school with my husband, a freediver, who came to be coached by owner and world-class freediver, Ricardo, who is excellent at teaching freediving and has so much passion for it. I was along for the ride and I also wanted to snorkel at least once while there, but I had huge fears of being in water. The first time we went snorkeling, Sebastian made me feel comfortable by listening to my fears, staying near me, and assuring me he would keep me safe. I knew he was trained in keeping people safe in the water and that he had the skills needed if there was an emergency, which was huge in helping me relax. Sebastian then taught me a course, which was an introduction to freediving. I learned that I can hold my breath for longer than I ever have before and that I can dive to 30 feet. These experiences freed me from so many of my fears and I felt like I left the school with so many new skills and with a deeper understanding of who I am. I am deeply grateful for the experiences I had there, and for Sebastian, who was patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. I am also grateful to the other staff and students who were there while we were and helped to make our time enjoyable and smooth. If you're looking for a place to snorkel, freedive, or scuba dive, this is your place. I highly recommend them for their excellence in all they do, for the way they care about the safety of everyone who dives with them, and for the fun you are almost guaranteed in the environment of the school and with the folks there.
