I was lucky enough to spend three weeks training in freediving at Roatan Freediving on Roatan Island. When the conditions are right, diving on Roatan is an absolute dream. Warm water, 30-meter visibility, and just a short 2–3-minute boat ride to the dive site with depths of up to 60 meters. The approach of the instructors Marc and Dimitri at Roatan Freediving is very professional; safety is always top priority, yet it feels like being around a freediving family. The school’s location in a beachfront resort is simply spectacular. In these ideal conditions, it’s almost a given that your training efforts will be rewarded with new personal bests and visible progress. I highly recommend Roatan Freediving to everyone and will definitely be returning there!
