Only One Apnea Center is the first freediving school in Sharm El Sheikh, founded in 2007 by Marco Nones — PSS Trainer, Athletes Coach, and one of the most influential figures in the development of freediving on Egypt's Red Sea. Marco organised the AIDA World Championships in Sharm El Sheikh in 2007 and 2008, and has coached athletes to national records at depths of 80–103m. The school offers PSS and SSI certified courses for all levels — from a 3-day beginner programme (targeting 2-minute breath hold, 40m dynamic apnea, and 15–20m open water depth) to advanced, instructor, and elite athlete coaching. Unique facilities include a floating platform with counterballast safety system, a head-down sled for equalization training, multiple training buoys to 40m, and DPV (underwater scooter) rental. Learn apnea in the warm Red Sea with boat access to Tiran Island and Ras Mohammed National Park. In summer, the school also operates at the Tremiti Islands in the Adriatic Sea, Italy.
