The people behind it

Meet the Founders

Portrait of Salim

Salim

Salim discovered freediving during a post-Covid journey through Asia, an experience that completely changed his path. Leaving his previous life behind, he became a certified freediving Master Instructor, safety diver for both pool and depth disciplines, and equalization coach. Today, he helps students develop confidence, relaxation, and awareness underwater, guiding them safely into deeper dives while overcoming apprehension and improving equalization techniques. His goal is to share the same sense of freedom, calm, and connection to the ocean that continues to inspire him on every freediving session.

Portrait of Julie

Julie

Julie discovered freediving as a powerful way to overcome personal barriers, fears, and perceived limits. Through diving, she found a deep sense of balance, confidence, and self-discovery. Today, as a certified freediving Master Instructor, functional breathing coach trained in the Oxygen Advantage method, and menstrual cycle coach, she helps students improve performance, breathing efficiency, body awareness, and mental resilience. Her approach combines freediving, breathwork, and holistic coaching to guide people toward greater well-being, confidence, and connection with themselves through the underwater world.

I did my AIDA 3 with Salim, and I really loved his teaching style. After trying different instructors before, I realized his approach fits me the best. It’s very straightforward and practical, no bullshit, no overly deep technical explanations meant for champions instead of beginners. Culturally, that style works really well for me. I improved a lot in just a few sessions, so I can only imagine how much more progress I’d make next time. Beyond that, I genuinely had a lot of fun. Salim is professional, knowledgeable, and creates a good atmosphere during training. We’ll definitely be back this year to train more with them. And, I also love the t-shirt they gave me, such a beautiful little reminder of an amazing week training in Dahab 🐙🧜‍♀️

Just finished my AIDA 2 course with Julie and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Freediving was a completely new sport for us, and Julie was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process, having us patience in explaining everything, helping us learn while fully enjoying all the new sensations that freediving brings. The place is also beautiful, the water, the temperature, all of it. Also coordinating the schedule was super easy. Everything just felt relaxed, chill, and enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d recommend to any friends who want to try freediving!
