It's not easy to put into words how special my experience at Freedive Dahab has been… but I'll try. From the very first moment, I felt well taken care of. Everything was organized with so much love: the transfer was perfect, punctual, and stress-free. They took care of absolutely everything, allowing you to arrive and simply enjoy yourself. The accommodation was another incredible highlight: super central, convenient for getting around, with spacious, clean, and very welcoming rooms. The decor is also beautiful, cheerful, full of color, and has a lovely energy that makes you feel good as soon as you walk in. The owner is a sweetheart: approachable, friendly, and always smiling. The same goes for the office staff—always available, efficient, and incredibly attentive. Everything runs smoothly, without complications, and you can tell that great care has been taken with every detail. The equipment is also impeccable, all in perfect condition. But the most special thing, without a doubt, is the people. The instructors are not only incredibly professional but also kind, approachable, and patient. They make you feel comfortable from the very first moment, they truly listen and support you. The advice they give is invaluable; you can really see how they help you progress, gain confidence, and enjoy freediving more. There's a very special energy in this place. It's relaxed, authentic, and at the same time, it motivates you to push your limits. In just a few days, you already feel like you belong, you connect with people, and you take away so much more than just a course. I left feeling like I'd been there too short a time… but with the certainty that I'll be back very soon. It's one of those places that stays with you, that touches your heart. We spent a week with Freedive Dahab for both the course and accommodation. School / course : As a couple, we joined the beginner freediving course with different levels of physical fitness. The instructors were very attentive and adapted well to each of us - slowing down when needed and providing more advanced guidance where appropriate. They clearly care about both safety and comfort in the water, which made us feel supported throughout the course. The equipment was in good condition and could be easily exchanged in case needed. The community of both instructors and fellow students was very open-minded and inspiring! Accommodation: The room was simple but spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is open-style, with the shower not separated. The shower pressure could be stronger, and one morning (around 6:00), the water stopped though it was fixed later in the day once the school opened. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, offering a breathtaking view of the Sinai mountains and the sea. It’s a perfect place to relax or practice breathing exercises. The location is very close to the main freediving site - the Lighthouse and within walking distance of many cafes and restaurants. We also enjoyed the free dives to Ras Mohammed and the Blue Hole organized by Freedive Dahab. Looking forward to coming back for the continuation of our freediving journey 🧜♀🧜♂🧜♂
